What are good times, exactly? Are they the times that make you look back on them with fondness and pride? Are they the times when time went by without much happening? Are they the times when you felt peaceful or were they the times when everything was chaotic yet beautiful?
“Writing is only boring to the people who are boring themselves.” ~ Anonymous
I don’t know if any of you have written diary entries before. But if you haven’t, you should start. Because writing is beautiful, it’s art. Writing down your emotions on a piece of paper makes your thoughts clearer and ends up making you feel better about yourself in ways you can’t possibly imagine.
I’m going to be honest here, I’ve been thinking all week about what to write and I have no idea. So, I decided to make it something super simple. Consider it a guide for if/when you guys visit Mysore.
I don’t know what I’m writing about exactly. I’m just hoping it will end well. It was a few days ago when I was sitting around doing nothing when my friend sent me the link to his blog and told me to read it (beforeireturn.com). I loved it and told him so. This one article, though, about the Present-day Sarajevo which is a city filled with survivors of the war between the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia’s People Army. The article was/is very detailed and a really good read. This article just clicked with me. I don’t know what it was. Was it the way the words were put into easily understandable sentences? Was it the pictures? Or was it just the mere fact that the article was written by a friend? Maybe it was much more than that and I wasn’t realising it yet.
I sat there smiling for no reason one day,
Then I realized I was thinking of you.
I should really be put into jail for treason,
Because thinking of you time flew.
